Car Smash
Click or tap vehicles as they roll across the screen to deal damage and rack up your score. Each vehicle type takes different hits to destroy — smash through 10 vehicle types across the garage to win.
Accuracy and speed both matter. Deal 100% damage to a vehicle to clear it and move on. The faster you smash, the higher your final score.
How to Play
- Attack: Click or tap a vehicle to deal damage
- Fill the damage meter to 100% to clear each vehicle
- 10 vehicles in the garage — smash them all
- Mobile: fully touch-controlled
About This Game
Car Smash is pure destruction satisfaction. Ten vehicles roll through a garage and your job is to click them to pieces — each click deals damage, and when the meter hits 100%, the vehicle is gone and the next one rolls in. It's a tap game that rewards consistent, sustained clicking rather than reaction speed.
Why We Built It
There's a category of mobile game built entirely around the satisfaction of progressive destruction — watching a progress bar fill, seeing a visual state change, feeling like each input made a difference. Car Smash distills that to its core. The vehicle variety across 10 types gives each smash session a different visual experience, and the increasing durability of later vehicles creates a natural pacing arc without complex level design.
How It Works
Each vehicle has a maximum HP value that increases with the vehicle index. Every click reduces HP by a fixed amount. The vehicle visual updates to show progressive damage states — dents, cracks, and deformation — at HP thresholds. When HP reaches zero, a destruction animation plays and the next vehicle spawns. The final score reflects total damage dealt and the time taken to clear all ten vehicles.
Tips & Strategy
- Click in the center of the vehicle for consistent hits. Edge clicks can occasionally miss the hitbox on fast devices.
- Maintain a steady rhythm rather than clicking as fast as possible. Consistent pace reduces missed clicks from input lag on mobile.
- On desktop, use a mouse click held in a hover position and focus on click rate rather than pointer movement.
- Later vehicles have significantly more HP — don't slow down just because you cleared the first few quickly. The last two take the most time.
Ideas for Improvement
- Weak spots — highlighted zones on each vehicle that deal double damage when hit, rewarding accurate clicking over raw speed.
- Tools and weapons — a wrecking ball, hydraulic press, or sledgehammer selectable before each vehicle.
- Physics debris — parts that break off and fly realistically using a simple physics engine.
- Time attack mode — fixed vehicle HP across all runs so the only variable is how fast you can click, making it a pure speed challenge.
